You hear conversations or noises from behind an existing wall, but you don't want to attach material directly to its surface. You can build a shallow frame in front of it, fill it with Wall Panel 30, and close it with plasterboard. The same product will also work when the frame creates a new wall, an installation enclosure, or a pipe casing.
A 30 mm layer with a density of 80 kg/m³ helps reduce sound transmission through the finished structure and supports its thermal properties. Choose it when space is limited.
Filling the wall cavity with Wall Panel 30 increases the acoustic insulation of the entire partition by 10–15 dB compared to an empty space.
500 and 610 mm correspond to the most common stud spacing. Choose the width to fit your structure, and the panels will fit snugly between the studs and stay in place on their own, without dowelling or suspension.
What Wall Panel 30 is suitable for
Frames and furring walls with a depth of 30 mm
Studs spaced 50 and 60 cm apart (500 and 610 mm formats)
How to install Wall Panel 30
Cut it with a knife, leaving a 1-2 cm excess width, press it between the studs, and close it with a board. No gaps, no sagging, no empty spaces at the top edge, because that's where the effect is most often lost.
It holds by friction, doesn't slide down the structure over time. It doesn't generate dust or scratch during installation - unlike wool.
